Necklaces I wear with my own gowns have to fit specific criteria. First, they need to not have a center drop- why? Because pendants always seem to be crooked in photos! Arg! So, I make my necklaces to have a repeating pattern, so that if they do turn a bit through the day it will still look alright. Second, they need to have simple sturdy clasps that won't eat my hair. The smaller of the necklaces has a small clamp/box type clasp, and the larger necklace is without closure. See the photos for detail. Third- no plastic! Plastic pearls just don't last and aren't nearly as pretty.
Gold-plated filigree beads and clasp, 8mm glass pearls.
Necklace 1 is 17 inches long - this will sit at the base of your neck, depending upon your neck size.
Necklace 2 is 32 inches long - this will rest on your chest, or tuck into your bodice for a very sexy and period look!
