These headdresses are sewn and beaded by hand. The beads are individually sewn on, and they are lined in a plastic and wire combination- which means they will stand up to getting wet! (unlike hats made with other stiffeners) I use glass pearls, not plastic, and gold plated beads. (or silver if you prefer.) Each hood is finished with a drape of fabric in the back to cover your hair.

I charge $60 plus $7 shipping for a french hood in velvet (your choice of jewel color) with beads and pearls in your choice of silver or gold. You may also provide half a yard of fabric and half a yard of trim for your hood if you would like to coordinate with your gown.
