This is our favorite fabric available- a high luster poly satin with
a pattern of sweetheart roses. This would be lovely for a Wedding
Gown, Formal Gown or Corset.
Available in silver!

(all colors now available for sampling)

Renaissance Brocade-
This cotton blend brocade has a great drape, it is perfect for Renaissance
and Fantasy Gowns. It has a large pattern- the blue and the
purple have a floral pattern, the burgundy and soft navy are not floral..
Colors available:
Burgundy
Royal Purple
Soft Navy Blue (not shown) |
 |
Vine Brocade
This brocade has a soft finish and is lovely in two tones of color.
The pattern is in two tones for added depth of color, with a pattern of
small vines, and curlicues. It is has a marvelous historic look.
It is lovely, and perfect for a unique Wedding gown, Fantasy gown or a
Corset.

solid color, with a pattern of Victorian flowers. It is lovely, and
perfect for a Wedding Gown, Fantasy Gown, Kimono or Corset.

New- Silk Duponi
This slightly nubby finish silk has a light weight, and unique look.
It is perfect for when you don't want shiny, but don't want a patterned
fabric- and is it 100% silk! Available in a wide variety of colors
such as cream white, pale
pink, silver, pewter (dark
silver) lavender, bright
true green, deep
green,bordeaux
red, deep
navy, purple, and black.
Having your gowns main fabric silk duponi will add $75 to the brocade
price listed due to the increased price of material. (Having
a gowns underdress made with this material will increase the cost of the
gown by $50.) |
Satin
 |
Lightweight satin. This is used for corsets, and gown under dresses.
White, Black, Pale Peach, Rose Pink, Light Blue, Lavender, Red, Purple,
Royal Blue, Navy, Hunter Green, Purple, and Ivory. |
 |
Matte Satin- (also known as Duchess Satin)
This is a nice soft draping satin, with a matte finish- it is used
for gowns, but not under dresses or corsets. This is a plainer
fabric than brocade, is made of synthetic materials (which make it drape
nicely, but it is hotter to wear than the brocade) and in my opinion not
as pretty. Some bridal companies call this Duchess satin.
Colors: white, ivory, pink, richest red, royal blue, navy blue, deep
forest green, true purple, black. |
Velvet
 |
Velvet:
super soft real plush velvet
Colors available: Red, Dark Green, Royal Blue, Purple, Navy,
Wine (a lovely deep burgundy), and Black.
I am sorry, but some gowns are not available in velvet- please check
the fabrics listed on the page with the gown you like!
Velvet is a very fragile fabric.
It may not be ironed, is difficult to keep clean, shows water marks, shows
perspiration, it hot to wear, and wears faster than any other type of fabric.
I am sorry, but I do not work with white or ivory velvet. |
 |
Cotton:
I use either cotton, or cotton blend (which is far easier care).
Cotton corsets are made with twill, cotton under dresses are made with
light weave.
This is lightweight, and machine washable.
White, ivory, red, forest green, black, navy, blue, and many other
basic colors.
These fabrics are your choices for custom made Gowns
by
Silks and Velvets only.
I do not sell all of these fabrics or provide
my supplier information.
Please email with your address, or send a self addressed envelope
for a fabric sample.
Please note: fabrics do change in availability,
please have samples sent when you are within
a month or so of ordering.
